Wow Us Wednesday Link Party

Hey ya'll! Where did the week go! I surely don't know but it's gone. I had the lovely opportunity to have my dear DIL over, and spend time with my newest grandson this morning. That little guy is growing like crazy! He gain 4 lbs and grew 3 inches in a month! He's a chunky little money for sure! I can't call him my itty bitty can I? My DIL stayed for lunch with all of the kids and I; we had home made chicken soup with home made bread.  Well welcome back to Wow Us Wednesday link party. I'm so glad you are here!

This last week the click throughs were the lowest yet, only 27! Thats so sad, so I don't have a most viewed link for you. I did pick out some of my favs from last week.

Eco-Friendly Gift Giving

Hello everyone, please welcome Mary from Mary's Heirloom Seeds, my guest poster today!

Hey there! I am so excited to share with you today about Eco-Friendly Gift Giving!  My name is Mary and together with my husband we own and operate Mary's Heirloom Seeds.  We offer over 170 varieties of heirloom, non-GMO, open-pollinated, untreated seeds as well as organic gardening supplies.  I also blog over at Back to the Basics.

True story, the first year in our house my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said DIRT.  It's true!  Our soil here wasn't very fertile and I needed to give my garden a bit of a boost.

Wow Us Wednesday Link Party

* UPDATE  I'm sorry for the mix up! I am working from an older laptop with a mind of it's own so I have no idea what happened. The party is on a template so should have posted correctly. On with the party!

Howdy from warm AZ! It's kinda hard to get into the season when it's in the 90's! I am trying to get ready for our Family Harvest Day happening this Saturday and I am having a time getting into the spirit of it all. This last weekend I took Kids Club kids on a field trip to Pioneer Village for the Harvest celebrations there. It was too warm for me but we all still had a good time.

Wow Us Wednesday Link Party

It's Wow Us Wednesday link party time! I'm glad you are here! The week flew by for me as I have been a little extra busy; 'little extra' as in new grand baby busy. Of course his being here does not require anything of me but I simply can't stay away from him. I am spending any extra time at his house holding him and playing with his big sister. He will come here when he's 3 months old and mom goes back to work. Won't I have fun then? A 3 month old, a one year old, 2 three year olds, and a 4 year old. I think I'm tired already! But it will be fun time.

How to Bend & Shape PVC Pipe

The man of the house has been wanting to expand his work shop area for some time. I am happy to have him do it because the small enclosure he uses as a shop really is too small to hold all his tools. When ever he has a project he needs to pull everything out onto the patio to make room for working. Since he only has scraps of time, his "stuff" lives on the patio indefinitely till he finishes his project and DRIVES ME CRAZY!  annoys me.

But there has been something preventing him from expanding the shop; me.....uh I mean a water faucet; the only one available to the back yard. It was all the way in the far back corner and required me to pick my way over and through his stuff, squeeze by some over grown oleanders to get to it all the while looking out for scorpions and black widows with each step back there!  The faucet first, then the shop I insisted.

Hey everyone! Here he is, number 10! Arrived this afternoon healthy and happy. Mom is doing great too. I held him ever second I could but had to share him now and then. That's his big sister checking him out there. So sweet and such a blessing! And Grandma is tired! Long day ;)  Welcome to the party!

Twinning: Weaving a Rag Rug

Debra over at Frugal Little Bungalow has been responsible for me getting interested in a couple of things; quilting along with the Benjamin Biggs Quilt, and Twinning a rag rug. Thanks Debra! I have found that I love Twinning much more than crocheting for rag rugs. Very satisfying and addicting for me. My loom measures 26" x 38", it has nails across the top spaced at 1/2 inch intervals. It also has a metal rod down the side to keep the sides straight and not have them pull in. I can't imagine how hard it would be to have straight sides without that rod! I had a bit of a wobble even with it there.

Wow Us Wednesday Link Party

Another week gone and another link party! We are on baby watch around here, yes another grand baby due any day! Pretty exciting stuff let me tell you, and grandma here is getting anxious to meet the newest member of the gang. I've got my silly, high pitched just for babies voice all practiced up and I can't hardly wait to kiss that sweet little face and smell the top of his head. Oh it will be so grand! Who will he look like I wonder; you know only one of my grand kids only slightly look like me. Why is that? Maybe this one will just a little ;)

Ok, enough silliness, last week the most clicked link was................
